Huntingdon Boat Club (HBC) is a community amateur sports club that is eligible for Gift Aid.
The original 1854 club aim was to “Promote and further the interest of rowing in Huntingdon”. This remains as true today as it was then.
The 2012 Olympics and its legacy project have caused an upturn in the active involvement of the UK population in sport and HBC is evidence of this. Since 2012 the number of Junior members has increased greatly and the club now has a strong Junior squad.
The club competes at both a Senior and Junior level and from Novice to Elite. We attend many local Regattas and Head of river events but also travel as far afield as Ironbridge.
HBC also has a strong social element and is supported by a number of non rowing members.
