On Saturday 4th August a number of the clubs rowers headed to Sudbury for their annual regatta. To the relief of the spectators the weather was perfect this year and a fantastic day was had by all. HBC winners were Toby Ray and Finn Brice in the J12 2x who achieved a new course record in 2.51 mins and Josh Davies sculling in a composite 2x with Fergus Mitchell-Dwely also achieving a new course record of 2.14 mins. Toby Ray secured an additional win in the J12 1x.
For the seniors, Edward and Mark won a straight final in the Masters A/B 2x. Also rowing were Ellie Nicholls, Ellie Garnham, Maksim, Emily, Lou, Alec, Joe Brice, Ben, Alex and Iain and Andy with Alice Coxing the 8x+. Thanks to Neil for towing the trailer again, Edward for the use of his towing truck and all those who came along to support.
